DOPA: What do you think?
The DOPA (Deleting Online Predators Act) is proposed in the USA.
If it passes all access in public schools to social networking sites on the Internet would be banned (including MySpace).

As I have mentioned in the past, i feel safety and having completely access to all information are two things which we (human beings) cannot have at the same time.
In a perfect world, yes it would be possible. However, the world we see out the window today, is not that world in which ever human being is educated and chooses right over wrong. Due to man's unpredictibility behavior.
As long as there will be free will amongst us, nothing can be ensured.
Thus, i feel the public have to decide between security and complete access to information.
As mentioned above the government should have it's people make a choice between their safety and their level of access to information. Once the public has made it's choice, it should be set as the people want it.
Social issues include:
1) Several loss of jobs (Those who work for big online blog companies)
2) Many organisations and youth groups will form in the real world rather than online…
